Sometimes I look into the beady little eyes of my chickens and wonder what they’re thinking about. I’d bet anyone $20 they’re planning out how to take over the world, or at least take over the inside of my house.
We should all be grateful a chicken is the size of a small housecat and lacks teeth or any weapon beyond toenails and feeble pecking. I’m not the only one who thinks this way. There are others. They even write stories about how fearsome chickens really are. Don’t believe me? Then go read this short story:

I have to say I’m certainly not the only one who sees the potential for global domination in chickens.
